Profiled this upcoming movie a few weeks back...

A quick recap... Directed by Joshua Trank, Chronicle follows the misadventures of three high school buddies who develop uncanny powers after making an incredible discovery. As they learn to control their abilities and use them to their advantage, their darker sides begin to take over.

The film stars Michael B. Jordan, Dane DeHaan, and Alex Russell as the teens, and is set to be released in February 2012. I'm not hearing much about it, even though its release date isn't so far away; so I have no idea what to expect here.

MTV recently dropped a trailer for the film, which we shared previously as well; the full poster follows first below; the trailer underneath the poster:

Cloverfield meets The Craft. I can dig it. Freaking Andrew always has to take things too far.

Looks awesome! Great to see a young African American that has super powers like his caucasian co-stars!
