Cush Jumbo as Marc Antony, in The Donmar Warehouse production of 'Julius Caesar'.
British actress Cush Jumbo is currently featured in the lead role of Marc Antony in an all-female production of Julius Caesar at London's Donmar Warehouse theatre.

Directed by Phyllida Lloyd, and also starring Frances Barber, Jade Anouka, Jen Joseph, and Jenny Jules, this ambitious take on William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar runs until February 9, 2013.

To date, Jumbo's most high-profile role is likely her 2009 guest turn on BBC's Torchwood.  Jumbo, who was most recently seen in the TV series Vera and Getting On, recently told The Guardian that she "is more comfortable with the relative anonymity of theatre," with no real aspirations for Hollywood fame.

As a playwright myself, I can definitely relate to the relative comfort that the anonymity of theatre provides. In most (not all) cases, it is about your work, rather than profile.
I thought it a little strange and curious to have an all female production of Julius Caesar and then I remembered that in Shakespearian times, all male productions were the norm (although, I honestly didn't see the purpose of that either).
