  Naww, sounds like a meatier role than that. If this is the chick the young Carrie Bradshaw looks up to and imitates, Freema's gonna have substantial onscreen presence and impact on the storyline. True she's not the star but not gonna be a BBF either.

  And Noel should get over himself. He was never a "companion" of the Doctor, just a tag along who wasn't even wanted and had to prove his worth over time.

  What difference does it make? It's all about finding the best actor for the specific role. What part of that don't you understand?
