Cedric The Entertainer's Dance Fu, a comedy I profiled at the site back in July, will be released in the U.S. on DVD and VOD on October 4th. The film, produced by Level 33 Entertainment, is available for pre-order on Amazon.

Dance Fu, starring Cedric, Kel Mitchell, Katerina Graham, Tommy Davidson, Ty Hodges and Gary Anthony Sturgis, tells the story of a "young dance champion, Chicago Pulaski Jones, seeks fame and fortune in the big city until he gets sidetracked by the murder of his uncle at the hands of evil crime kingpin Pretty Eyed Willy – a death he must avenge by mastering a unique style of martial arts that incorporates his amazing dancing skill.”

Here's the trailer.

Too bad. I thought it'd be stupid, senseless fun. Will still check it out though.

I lost valuable time off my life when I saw this film. Time that I will never regain. I love and support black film. But my limits were tested
