Maybe one of the hardest working men in show-business... Mr Danny Glover has signed on to co-star, alongside Kiefer Sutherland and David Mazouz, in a new Fox TV drama pilot titled Touch.

The series centers on a father (played by Sutherland) who discovers that his genius son (played by Mazouz) "is communicating with him through a complex series of numbers and may even be able to predict events before they happen."

Mr Glover will play a character named Arthur DeWitt, a college professor who's an expert on "gifted" children, who works with father and son.

The new program was written and will be produced by the creator of the once popular "gifted humans" sci-fi TV series Heroes, Tim Kring.

As TVLine notes, if Fox likes what they see in the pilot episode, and pick up the series, Touch will likely debut during the middle of next season.

LOL @ Anonymous. I also hope they work out the deal for the 24 Movie. Keifer ain't getting no younger...

As far as Danny Glover, he is an excellent actor and I’m so glad he made some dough and gained main stream exposure in the Lethal Weapon franchise. Probably another reason he’s still working in Leading or at least Leading Co-Star roles. Clarence Williams III is an equally gifted actor, but gets mostly bit parts to pay his mortgage…I hope…and not rent.

FOX better make sure Kring has completed all episodes (or a bulk of) before they say yes (and before he botches the show mid-season).

"Jack Bauer" returns to the little screen. Can't wait. :-)

Great example of what we've been talking about here on S&A. That character was written as an old, overweight white man.

When you're good, you've built up enough work & you want to do something, stuff will happen.

This sounds a little like the TV series "Numbers" (2005-2010). Hopefully, this show runs for long time and doesn't get cancelled. I noticed a trend in TV were Blacks have starring roles and within a few months the show is magically off air.
