Filmmaker Darryl Roberts' follow-up to his highly successful and self distributed 2007 documentary America the Beautiful, entitled America The Beautiful 2 :The Thin Commandments (which we told you about HERE and HERE) in which he further explores this country's obsession with youth, beauty and image, and how it affects women (and guys as well) has been a success so far in its limited opening release.

The film has been held over from its original sold out week-long run in N.Y. and Los Angeles, and opens today in San Diego at the Gaslamp 15 theater, in New Haven Connecticut at the Criterion Cinema on October 28, and in Dallas on November 4th at the Angelika Dallas theater.

More dates and cites will be reported here as they are announced.
