Grammy-nominated singer Deborah Cox has joined the cast of the forthcoming revival of the "Jekyll and Hyde" musical Jekyll, set to tour this fall in advance of a Broadway run next year.

Variety reports that Cox, who played a 2004 Rialto stint in Aida, will play Lucy, the prostitute and performer who catches the eye of Hyde. Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages) will star as the two-faced title character.

The show is directed by Jeff Calhoun (Newsies), composed by Frank Wildhorn, and produced by Nederlander Presentations.

Jekyll will have a preliminary run in La Mirada, CA, in September ahead of an October 2 premier in San Diego. The 25-week tour culminates in a Broadway run in April 2013.

Great voice and apropos that she's in this production. I am reminded of her hit song, "Nobody's (black folks ain't) Supposed To Be Here" singing Jekyll and Hyde. Her Youtube video says it all and she looks FINE FINE FINE. Yummy to say the least--> http://youtu.be/yG15ZNyPtFI
