Monica is an upcoming new feature film from producer Datari Turner, via his Datari Turner Productions, along with Gordon Bijelonic-Datari Turner Films and Imprint Entertainment.
An engaged aspiring artist couple make a pact in order for Monica to take a job as an exotic dancer to take care of her cancer stricken father. Once the pact the couple made is broken, there lives are changed forever.
The film's lengthy cast list includes: Mariel Hemingway, James Remar, Lynn Whitfield, Omari Hardwick,
Carmen Electra, Lisa Raye, Robert Hoffman, Briana Evigan, Nia Peoples,

Keyes, Wesley Jonathan, Terrell "T.O." Owens, Ron Jeremy, and Dennis White.
If you've seen Dysfunctional Friends, you'll recall that Turner worked with a few of these actors in that Corey Grant-directed dramedy.
Monica is directed by Gregory Carter, from a story by both Carter and Turner.

I wouldn't pre judge this film before seeing it. Based on Datari Turners track record with other films like Dysfunctional Friends, LUV, Video Girl to name a film the guy is talented and makes great movies
