About That Popular 'Black Films Don't Sell ...Direct Short Film From Script Written By Geoffrey Fletcher, Get International Recognition (Contests)
Bombay Sapphire in association with Tribeca Film Festival, is offering budding filmmakers the chance to make their own short film, using their imagination to interpret a short film script created by Academy Award winner, Geoffrey Fletcher.
Titled 'The Bombay Sapphire Imagination Series' the competition aims to celebrate endless creativity and the brand's belief in the power of imagination.
From the 26th of April, budding filmmakers can view the script at http://www.imaginationseries.com and can submit their interpretation of Geoffrey's script on the site from the 8th of May 2012.
A global judging panel, including Geoffrey Fletcher and other industry leaders put together by the Tribeca Film Festival, will select five (5) winners from a shortlist of entries who will then go on to produce and direct their own individual films to view at a star-studded international premiere in early 2013.
Initially announced early last month, I actually thought it was just a USA competition, but it's actually a global short film competition. So wherever you are, you're eligible.

There is no question I will enter in this. I think this is a great contest for people to get off there but and create.
