He's been out on the media circuit promoting his directorial debut RedTails but, in a recent interview with Moviefone, Anthony Hemingway also hinted at what to expect for the new season of another production he directs...Treme.

"It's getting more into dealing with the crime of the city. It's really showing that when no one cares, you have to step up and do it on your own. That's kind of its thematic thing, where you see all the characters end up having to really step up and make it happen on their own," he said.

"The government, the city, everything turns its back on you and has no help for you. It's parallel with what's going on in the world today, with Occupy Wall Street and being in the 99 precent. It's along the lines of where we are right now actually."

Season 3 of the show was scheduled to debut this summer but has actually been delayed until the fall.

Sounds compelling. I can't even imagine the real thing. Maybe we'll be miraculously blessed with at least two more seasons. Either way, I hope the film industry in N.O. is still poppin, and a good portion of that money is going to the PEOPLE not just the government.

More than ready for the music!!!!! Come heavy with the grooves!
