One Village Entertainment has announced the December 3 DVD and Blu-Ray release of Winnie Mandela, the epic biopic starring Jennifer Hudson and Terence Howard.

South African filmmaker Darrell Roodt (also the director of Winnie - the Jennifer Hudson Winnie Mandela film) has signed on to direct a found-footage thriller that will be set in South Africa - Johannesburg specifically, from a script penned by an American screenwriter, Tyler Hisel, titled Safari.

The long-awaited Winnie Mandela biopic starring Jennifer Hudson and Terrence Howard is finally headed to theaters. Winnie, which opened the Montreal International Black Film Festival this week, will be released nationwide in Canada starting October 5 with a U.S. release scheduled to follow in November.
