"I actually just got off the phone with the studio executives about putting it together. It’s a difficult time to make films, especially ones that don’t have people flying or sequels or cars. We’re struggling through, but it’s going to happen."

Words from Don Cheadle regarding his unconventional Miles Davis project, in an interview with New York mag, posted earlier today.

We continue to hang on his every word regarding this yet-to-be-made film. which, from all I've heard, is effing dope! Last we reported on this, Cheadle didn't seem as assured about it coming to fruition as he does in this above quote.

Even though nothing's official yet, but, from what he says, it looks like he has at least ONE studio's interest, and, ending with "it's going to happen," is encouraging. Can't wait to see what he's cooking!

For some reason, i'm thinking of underrated director-ELEM KLIMOV's movie- AGONY and Jean Luc Godard's -Sympathy for the Devil...as far as unconventional film tropes goes..
