Thespian Dorian Missick is attached to writer/director Jason Gilmore's forthcoming feature film, All The Children Are Insane - a project that's currently a Juntobox Films finalist (Juntobox, you should recall, is a new initiaive co-founded by Forest Whitaker, that gives independent filmmakers the opportunity for their films to be financed, produced and distributed, with support and mentorship from industry professionals, including Forest Whitaker.

The synopsis for All The Children Are Insane reads:

Self-made millionaire ISAIAH Burdon is dying of cancer in Pittsburgh. His daughter GENEVIEVE, an intelligent but rigid nurse, watches over him. She summons his son, EDWARD, a recently laid off investment trader in New York City to come home and say his last goodbyes. Edward brings his trophy girlfriend, ASHLEE, with whom he has united to swindle his siblings out of their share of any inheritance. The youngest brother, meth addict JOSHUA arrives, looking to detox in his childhood home. A weekend of arguments, hallucinations, secrets and betrayal lead to a surprising, devastating climax.

Dorian Missick will play Edward, the greedy Wall Street casualty.

LA-based Gilmore and his producing partner William Clevinger, hope the final outcome of the JuntoBox Films contest is in their favor; we should know more in the next few months, so stay tuned.

The ever-busy Southland co-star, Missick, can next be seen in indie features from Neil Drumming (Big Words) and Charles Murray (Things Never Said).

I just saw him in a preview for the SyFy network's HAVEN (which is my favorite show), looks like he'll be in that cast for a bit too. Glad to see him so busy. I've been watching his progress for years now.

Maybe had a bad haircut or is balding and they tried to blur/smudge it with Photoshop. Looks very strange whatever the case is.
