Missick and Thoms will play Annie’s "fake parents."

The film is currently filming in New York City, under Will Gluck's direction, based on a script he revised, originally written by Emma Thompson and Aline Brosh McKenna.

The long-in-development remake of the Broadway musical will be released by Sony Pictures on December 192014 (Sony moved the date up a week).

Missick recently wrapped shooting on the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced thriller, Beware the Night, in New York City, in which he appears alongside Eric Bana and Joel McHale.

Thoms can next be seen in the telepic Gothica, a contemporary tale that weaves together various iconic urban legends.

I cannot wait for this remake! I loved Q in Beasts, and I know she's going to be adorable in this. And I just saw Dorian in "Big Words", and LOVED HIM! Congrats to both he and Tracie. They are fine actors:)

Yo! Congratulations to both of these actors. Especially to my girl, Tracie, who I hope gets a chance to sing in the film. Much love!
