So far, all we've seen are short promos for the second season of Luther, the critically acclaimed psychological crime drama starring one Idris Elba. The below trailer gives us a full minute of new footage most of us haven't yet scene (unless you're in the UK where season 2 already aired, or you're one of those Stateside folks who watched pirated copies of it online).

Season 2 will premiere on Wednesday, September 28, at 10PM, about 2 weeks from now, on BBC America for stateside audiences, when its new so-called Dramaville hour, to be hosted by Idris, debuts.

Oh, and by the way, a 3rd season of Luther has been ordered, if you haven't already heard.

Season 2 reportedly outperformed season 1, on average, attracting over 5 million viewers and was well received by critics.
