The Dutch are at it again apparently; this must be the umpteenth post we've done that's centered on some racially-questionable Dutch film, TV series, or magazine article; and my guess is that it wont be the last...

An email I received from Quinsy Gario who runs the blog Roetinheteten.info tells the tale... We posted his review of the controversial Dutch film Only Decent People, last year.

Dear Mister Obenson,

I thought I would give you another heads up of the happenings here. A Dutch production company is making a show about white women who have jungle fever. They're going to put the women in an apartment and get black guys for them to date. As theyr'e doing this they're also going to study the multicultural society of Amsterdam's black neighborhood The Bijlmer.

My blog wrote about it and now a state funded public broadcaster has responded by coming up with the hashtag #BLACKCOCK and saying that there's nothing wrong with the program.

Could you get this out there: http://www.roetinheteten.info/post/44936349293/dutch-public-broadcasters-get-paid-to-be-racist

Thanks!

Kind regards,
Quinsy

Well, I'm getting the info out there as Quinsy requests, so click on the link to his blog above, catch up on the back-story, and return to share your thoughts.

By the way, the above image came from the state funded public broadcaster's website that Quinsy mentions, who responded to his concerns and came up with the hashtag #BLACKCOCK.

I'm not going to go into a lengthy post but I'll just throw about a few word association markers: Apartheid in South Africa. Slavery and Colonialism in Suriname and Guyana and other parts of the so called 'Dutch' West Indies. That is all I'm going to say.
Otherwise, I just can't with these people.

Welcome to liberal, open-minded, tolerant, progressive Europe ... the continent of prosperity and hope for all people.

Yup, Europeans sure do have a way of blowing smoke up people's ass.

For a culture that has such contempt for America's racism, they sure are replicating a lot of it.

Since we're on the subject of The Netherlands, racism and black pete, a documentary by Shantrelle P. Lewis was just funded on Kickstarter with $27,000, "Black Pete, Zwarte Piet: The Documentary". I can't wait to see what she comes up with! She did some filming in the fall of 2012 in Amsterdam. Check it out on Kickstarter.

This would be acceptable if they marketed it as filming Black people who have Cave Fever. Something tells me there would not be any enthusiasm from the Dutch, however. Not sure why.

The few Dutch people that I've met in my life have been pretty cool, (one was married to a brotha) but as a country they seem to be racist as hell. That whole "Black Peete" (black faced Santa's helpers) tradition is fked up, and it seems like the majority response to the groups that protest is "lighten up, it's not racist it's all in good fun/you're too sensitive".

OMG. First Lars Von Trier is his mandingo part scene in the movie Nymphomaniac, now this. SMDH. Like a school on a Saturday morning.....no class.

What about the programme about the Dutch women crazy for African men and the ones who travel to places like the Gambia every year on "vacation"? I personally know a few Dutch women who would be just right for that reality series. I would say that I'd watch such a series, but it's old news. As to this programme set in the Bijlmer, doesn't surprise me. Practically every media house/production company is trying to outdo each other with the most ridiculous reality series, the more controversy, the better.

sounds like the premise for pron movie

sadder than the fact that company is gong to put this together is that they are going to find Black dudes willing to participate.

I love Europe they're so sophisticated, they have a more open view of the world because they travel and have broader.....

    Ahhahahhhahahhahhahahahahahahahahhahahaa! Thud.

I'm sorry I could contain myself.

Attention seekers. If I were in Holland I wouldn't give them the air of publicity.

lol-word. Cue the across the pond Blacks who like to share how BRILLIANT it is that they don't live in racist, dysfunctional America. And why are American Blacks so obsessed with race, etc. when Europe is so carefreeeeeee

When all you can do is resort to stories and shows about race, you've run out of ideas. Maaaaad lame.
