It was confirmed today that the joint Paramount/MGM film will come out in theaters on August 8, 2014.
The film will be based on the Radical Studios graphic novel (how come no one calls them comic books anymore - "graphic novel" makes it sound like you're reading Victor Hugo), Hercules: The Thracian Wars.
The film is reported to be a "revisionist take on the classic myth and is set in a world where the supernatural does not exist."
No word yet, as to who will be starring along with Johnson in the film.

PASS! I`ve already thrown up in my mouth twice, at the thought of this being another Nolan-esque ripoff offering.
