Echo Kellum's name has been showing up often in my newsfeed in recent months. This time, the co-star of the recently-canceled Fox comedy series, Ben & Kate, has now signed up to co-star opposite Sean Hayes in an NBC comedy pilot.

Currently untitled, the comedy will center on Sean (Hayes), a man forced to learn how to be a parent to his 14-year-old daughter, who just moved in with him, while having to find a way to deal with a gruff new boss at the office where he works - an online retail store.

Echo Kellum will play a character named Hunter, Sean’s co-worker, who also happens to be a passionate multi-talented artist.

It was just last week when Kellum booked a guest-starring role on NBC’s comedy The Gates, replacing Justin Chon after a table read. So it looks like NBC likes him enough...
