File this one under "WTF?"

Seriously W. T. F.???

This is a joke right Hollywood Reporter... really; April Fools Day is on Sunday; is this an early April Fools prank?

Read on folks... breaking news from The Hollywood Reporter:

Universal and Montecito Pictire Co. are hoping to develop a doozy of a follow-up to the hit comedy that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito that would reunite the two stars. But wait, there’s a twist: In the new scenario, Eddie Murphy would act as a third brother. Titled Triplets, the story would see Schwarzenegger and DeVito as brothers Julius and Vincent, conceived experimentally, who discover they have third sibling. The project doesn’t have a director at this early stage – Ivan Reitman, who helmed the 1988 original, would only act as a producer with his Montecito Picture Co. cohorts Joe Medjuk, Tom Pollock and Ali Bell, according to sources – but the hunt is on for writers to develop the idea. Insiders caution that no substantial creative discussions have taken place between Universal and Montecito. The actors are attached to star.

So once again... WHAT THE FUCK???!!!

I don't know anything more... I don't know nothin'! Somebody please help a brotha out here...

Considering the original premise of Twins was that the twins in question looked absolutely nothing alike, I can't say I'm bothered that they're throwing a sibling of another ethnicity into the mix. I mean, it all sounds stupid, but I don't have an issue with it.

Tambay, where's the problem, dude? Eddie's making money, and what better way to do this than sandwiched between Arnold and Dan within the sequel to one of the most beloved comedies of the 80's? I say this without a hint of irony. Nor am I grinning as I type this.

He really doesn't want to be taken seriously as an actor. You would think that by now he's learned his lesson and decided to go the Bill Murray route, but nope.
