Not normally the kind of news we'd report here, but...
Emayatzy Corinealdi, star of Ava DuVernay's acclaimed sophomore feature narrative effort Middle Of Nowhere (which premiered at Sundance this year, and was acquired in a partnership between AFFRM and Participant Media), has signed with top talent agency, ICM (International Creative Management), who also represent her Middle Of Nowhere co-star David Oyelowo, as well as talents like Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, Jodie Foster, Robert Duvall, Al Pacino, William Hurt, Susan Sarandon, and many others.
Congrats to Emayatzy, who I finally got to meet and chat with briefly, while I was in Los Angeles, covering the PAFF last week.
Now let's see what comes next...

Actually Tambay, I would like to see more of these types of posts. They are inspiration for others out here and it's always nice to know when one of ours makes a move in their career.

Congratulations to Emayatzy!!! Known her for some time and know of her beginnings. A very beautiful and humble woman. No surprise to her succeeding. It was only a matter of time.
