This time it's on the new CBS medical drama series (yes, another one of those) titled A Gifted Man. Although he won't be the series' star; rather Mr Eriq La Salle will take on a recurring role as a neuropsychiatrist.

A Gifted Man, which will premiere on CBS on Friday, September 23, will star Patrick Wilson as a "competitive surgeon whose world is turned upside down when his ex-wife (Jennifer Ehle) begins teaching him the meaning of life from the hereafter," according to THR.

Also stated is that La Salle, no stranger to working behind the camera, might direct at least one episode of the upcoming new drama.

Since ending his involvement in the hit NBC series ER, La Salle has had parts in both TV and film, also directing the 2002 drama Crazy As Hell.

I like Jennifer Ehle from Pride & Prejudice (w/Colin Firth) but I'm not sure I'll be watching this show. I have way too many shows as it is lol. On a random note, I see Eriq La Salle walking in Runyon Canyon sometimes and he always smiles at me. Seems like a nice man.
