About That Popular 'Black Films Don't Sell ...Ernie Hudson Will Join Andre Braugher In ABC's 'Last Resort'
On the heels of last night's announcement that Ernie Hudson had Joined the cast Of George C. Wolfe's Hilary Swank drama, You're Not You, comes this morning's news that Hudson has landed a recurring role on ABC's new drama series Last Resort (which stars Andre Braugher).
Hudson will play Speaker of the House Conrad Buell.
Secondly, Hudson has also booked a role in Lifetime network's anthology series Five 2 (which chronicles the lives of various characters dealing with breast cancer), playing Jennifer Hudson’s father.
Hudson is currently shooting a thriller called Ward's Island, which centers on an outbreak of werewolves in New York City.

Now if they could find some room on board for a black female cast. I'm sure plenty of them serve in the armed forces as well.
