Profiled on the old S&A site in April this year, when it was revealed that it would screen at the Atlanta Film Festival, Everyday Sushine: The Story of Fishbone will receive an official theatrical release this fall, courtesy of Pale Griot Films, opening in New York City, on October 7th, at ReRun Theater in Brooklyn, followed by an L.A. run at Laemmle Sunset 5, beginning on October 21st.
No word about it playing in any other cities.

This is going to be absolutely epic. Those long time fans will get a great documentary and more recent fans a better knowledge of what Fishbone is all about... what a win win. Is it October yet ?!

I saw this at the 2011 Maryland Film Festival and among the five films I saw including the S&A profiled films 'Restless City', 'The Interrupters' & 'Viva Riva' this was my FAVORITE.

Still trying to find/buy a CD of their album "In Your Face".
