For those in NYC, who'd like to participate in a conversation with Coogler, live and in person, you should know that he'll be one of Film Society of Lincoln Center Summer Talks guests this year.
In an event that's FREE and open to the public, Coogler, who's become one of the most talked about new filmmakers of the year, will be in the spotlight, in a moderated by Film Society’s Eugene Hernandez, during which he'll discuss how he became a filmmaker and why he decided to tell the story of Oscar Grant, and much more, I'm sure.
This Summer Talk will take place on July 11, at 6pm, at the Film Center Amphitheater. Complimentary tickets will be distributed at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center box office on a first-come, first-served basis, starting one hour prior to the conversation. Limit: one ticket per person.
For those unable to attend, video of the conversation will eventually be available at youtube.com/filmlinc.
