I make custom designed life size realistic dolls. I was contacted by this film several months ago and commissioned to make two toddler dolls for the movie. So be watching for my dolls in one of the sleeping scenes with the little girls. Here is my website:

Not lately, she's always been like that. She could overact brushing her teeth

Angela Bassett reprising her role as Betty Shabazz and Viola Davis as Coretta Scott King wishful casting;-0

    I can't.

Mrs. Angela Bassett...she just has the ability to take any role, script and movie and upgrade it! Her talent is so evident that it makes up for the lack.
I am still puzzled as to how Blige was cast...but whatever.
The movie doesn't really appear that bad - but I think ONLY because of Bassett.

MJB's an exec producer on the project, so hey, $ talks. lol. I find the casting odd given her limited experience as a dramatic actress but I'm willing to give her a chance. ...

I don't know why this bothers me, or maybe I just find it both odd and amusing, but the new promos include: "Nine time Grammy Winner Mary J. Blige"....really, Lifetime? What does that have to do with acting? Poor Angela ( a real, trained actress) gets "academy award nominee" only.

Angela Bassett looks like she is doing a fine job in this movie, however even in the clip the writing seems very lifetimey. I hope Angela can still get a nomination from it if her performance is sold in the film. She can start working her way to being an EGOT.
