First Look: UK Poster For Eddie Murphy's "A Thousand Words"

It's a film that, at one point, seemed like it wouldn't see the light of day but now it looks like Eddie Murphy's latest comedy, A Thousand Words, will finally hit screens. Slated to be released in the UK on April 6th, here's a first look at the latest poster for the flick. It hits stateside on April 20th.

As Tambay stated in a previous post, this is the third release date announced for the Brian Robbins (Norbit) directed film. Kerry Washington and Cliff Curtis also co-star in the comedy.

A recap of the storyline:

Eddie Murphy is Jack McCall, a fast-talking literary agent, who can close any deal, any time, any way. He has set his sights on New Age guru Dr. Sinja (Cliff Curtis) for his own selfish purposes. But Dr. Sinja is on to him, and Jack's life comes unglued after a magical Bodhi tree mysteriously appears in his backyard. With every word Jack speaks, a leaf falls from the tree and he realizes that when the last leaf falls, both he and the tree are toast. Words have never failed Jack McCall, but now he's got to stop talking and conjure up some outrageous ways to communicate or he's a goner.

I've been seeing the trailer for it a lot recently. Good luck to him. This poster looks to be selling the other actors in the film. Kind of cluttered.
