We got our first image from the film right around this time yesterday, an eye-popping pic if there ever was one :)

Today, just moments ago, RZA posted what I'm guessing is the film's first poster on his Twitter page, sending it out to a few other folks with high follower counts (including his fellow Wu-Tang members), along with a note about the trailer debuting tomorrow, which we noted yesterday.

The Man With The Iron Fists, one of the new 2012 projects we here at S&A are excited about, stars RZA himself, Russell CrowePam GrierLucy Liu and others; Quentin Tarantino and Eli Roth served as producers on this $20 million project.

A test screening of the film was held in LA a few weeks ago, and S&A contributor Anthony, was present for that, and shared his thoughts on what he saw; if you missed that post, you can read it HERE.

Look for this baby to debut sometime in the fall.

Of course, once that trailer drops tomorrow, it'll be here waiting for you.

That's how the RZA gets things done. Looking good. Makes me proud to still be a Wu-Tang fanboy.

How come there was no buzz around this prior to now? Not slavery centered, perhaps?

Word was RZA kept a super tight lockdown on the production and post.

Probably since it is the RZA directing and penning. Wu-Tang music albums dont get much buzz since the 90s. Crowe is way past fighting weight since Joaquin killed him.

Well my esteemed fellow officer (aka one of the S&A writers) I am not blaming the site for the lack of buzz (I sense you think thats what Im saying... I could be wrong). Still there has been no buzz around it. Despite it having bona fide stars Russell and Lucy. Anyway , for me, the black samurai thing has always left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth. Why not be obsessed with capoiera?

THE SITE HAS POSTED ABOUT THIS SEVERAL TIMES. NO ONE COMMENTS MUCH ON IT, SO IT GOES UNNOTICED.
