High concept, low budget; words that I'm sure every studio exec with greenlight power would love to hear, when filmmakers are pitching projects to them.

But those are the kinds of projects that Kaleidoscope, Scanner-Rhodes and Graham Associates are hoping to produce via their newly-launched company, Mirror Image - 3 to 4 features budgeted at £200,000 (or about $315,000) annually.

And the first film on their slate is an "urban comedy" titled It’s A Lot, written by Femi Oyeniran (Kidulthood, Adulthood) and Nick Walker, to be directed by Oyeniran, and produced by Dean Fisher.

The film is described as "Kidulthood, Adulthood meets eighties classics Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Risky Business."

It's a comedy that centers on the mishaps and mischief of college life for a group of young British kids. In British "urban slang," the phrase "It's a lot" is an expression used when a series of events are perceived to be too strenuous/exceptional or stressful.

Femi Oyeniran will wear 3 hats in this, also starring in the film, alongside Adam Deacon and Alesha Dixon.

Principal photography is scheduled to begin in late September.
