Tweeted by The Rock himself. Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock in G.I. Joe 2, aka GI Joe: Cobra Strikes, currently shooting.
Who is Roadblock you ask? For the uninitiated... he is one of the most prominent African-Americans in the series, whose primary duty is as a heavy machine gunner; he's also a cook, and cousin to Heavy Duty, who was played by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje in the first GI Joe movie in 2009.
So can you smell what The Rock is cookin'?

Telling y'all, I didn't know it then, but it turned out that as a kid, most of my favorite characters from my toys & shows tended to be the black dude (or the ones I thought were black-Snake Eyes :-D). Roadblock & Heavy Duty were some of mine.
Alas, the movies dashed all my hope & dreams to pieces... :-(
