For The Love Of Movies... Can We Talk?Forest Whitaker, Eva Longoria Are Husband/Wife Environmental Activists In 'A Dark Truth' Clip
Forest Whitaker, Andy Garcia, Eva Longoria, Kim Coates, and Deborah Kara Unger star in Canadian director Damian Lee's political/environmental thriller, A Dark Truth, in which Garcia plays a former CIA operative turned political talk show host, who is hired by a corporate whistle blower (Unger) to expose her company’s cover-up of a massacre in a South American village.
When he arrives, he is plunged into a violent and chaotic situation, with the military cracking down on a group of protesters led by a pair of activists (Whitaker and Longoria).
The depletion of earth’s natural resource of water serves as the backdrop for the film.
Magnolia Pictures is releasing the film in theaters on January 4th, 2013.
