Just found out that I'm not being asked back on @franklinandbash #stunned :(:( Had fun on @franklinandbash wish them a great season. lots of projects in the works #flight #whitehousedown #arresteddevelopment #psych

Words from Garcelle Beauvais, which she posted on Twitter earlier today.

Obviously that means she will not be returning to her starring role as Hanna Linden when TNT's drama Franklin & Bash returns for a 3rd season.

Why she was dropped hasn't been publicly addressed yet.

As she notes, Beauvais will be seen in Flight (as Denzel Washington's wife, although she's on screen for less than 5 minutes), as well as in White House Down (also playing the wife of one of the stars - Jamie Foxx), Arrested Development and Psych on the small screen.

Franklin & Bash is a show I've never watched, so I'll defer to you folks who are fans for reactions.

I watched Franklin and Bash and the show is okay it certainly isn't anything special. I thought Garcelle was good on the show though. I thought the acting of Marc Paul Gosselaar and his co star Breckin Meyer was okay but seemed a bit forced the chemistry.

OMG! A black actress is paired up with a black lead actor as his wife!?! What... Eva Mendes/Eva Longoria/Sofia Vergara weren't available?

She sounded very upset about not being able to return to that IR-romance role on 'Franklin & Bash'. *Hmmm*

That's messed up. I have seen two or three episodes of the show, and I always wonder why they paired her romantically with Breckin Meyer as opposed to Mark Paul Gosselar. I am excited, however, that she will be appearing on one of my favorite shows, "Psych". :)

The show is good. The premise cool. The writing is good; not great but good. Dana Davis also stars. I wonder if they will keep her character or not. I watched most of the first seasons (about 4-6 episodes out of ?) and I have to admit I began to get bored with it. Good luck to her though. I definitely look forward to seeing her guest on Arrested Development and Psych!

She's better off. I would sporadically check in when nothing else was on to see if the show was going to improve, but it seems that they didn't spend time developing her character.

My guess is they're coming back with a smaller budget (due to mediocre to poor ratings) and she was deemed the least essential series regular. Now they're working with an extra $20-40 thousand an episode.

She should consider her self lucky, and be happy not that many people watched that show. She oh so much better than any episode that show has shown ever!
