George Lucas says he apparently has 50 hours worth shot of the Star Wars live-action TV series previously announced, but he's waiting for "a different type of technology we can use so it's economically feasible to shoot the shows.," he told G4TV in an interview last week.

Boooooh! Enough already George! Leave Stars Wars alone, please; how about, you know, creating something fresh. Or better yet, finally finish up that Tuskegee Airmen Red Tails film you've been working on forever. Seriously, you've already milked the cow, now you're milking the milk! Stop it!

Is this what happens when you've made more money than you can spend? You become creatively stifled? We know he plans to re-release all the Star Wars films in 3D. And there's already the animated TV show, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which will be returning to Cartoon Network for its 4th season this fall.

And now we can add this live action TV series he's working on.

Really, any of you out there actually interested in seeing more Star Wars interpretations.

I'm down for anything StarWarsian, however, if it's bad, I will rag on it.

Actually he corrected his statement what he meant was he had 50 hours worth of the script ready. He wants to revoloutionize tv production.my take is let him keep milking star wars in the end us indie film makers will benefit he is the reason we can shoot HD video at 24 frames per second he also boosted the quality of audio in theaters with thx sound he was also showing a 2d to 3d conversion process long before avatar.so let star wars continue to be a test bed for ground breaking industry changing tech that ends up making it less expensive for us to realize our own visions. As for red tails he even enlisted the use of the new hdslr cameras for some of the reshoots an off the the shelf technology and pushed it to its limits.
