VH1 and Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment are kicking off the New Year with the third season premiere of hit scripted series Single Ladies.

After averaging 3.3 million total viewers, VH1′s first hour-long scripted series returns with fan favorites LisaRaye McCoy (Keisha)Denise Vasi (Raquel), Charity Shea (April), D.B. Woodside (Malcolm), Travis Winfrey (Omar), Terrell Tilford (Sean), HaroldHouseMoore (Terrence) and introducing new supporting cast members LeToya Luckett (Felicia Price), Damien Dante Wayans (David Berenger) and Lesley-Ann Brandt (Naomi Cox).

Single Ladies season 3 will premiere Monday, January 6 at 9PM ET/PT on VH1.

As Season 3 of Single Ladies returns, as the VH1 press release states...

... we find our three fabulous friends tighter than ever and ready for more crazy and wild adventures. The premiere jumps three months ahead with a lavish wedding, leading to a new romance and new personal challenges for Raquel (Denise Vasi), April (Charity Shea), Keisha (LisaRaye McCoy) and Omar (Travis Winfrey). Raquel turns her focus to her boutique, Indulgence, and soon finds passion in an unexpected partnership. April lands the opportunity of a lifetime working for one of Atlanta’s most powerful music managers, Felicia Price (LeToya Luckett), who rules her company and the music world with an iron stiletto. While navigating Price Management, April gets embroiled into an ongoing rivalry with her new colleague David Berenger (Damien Dante Wayans). As Keisha and Malcolm (D.B. Woodside) return to Atlanta from travelling around the world, their relationship is threatened by a sudden tragedy, a mysterious woman, Naomi Cox, (Lesley-Ann Brandt) and other unexpected secrets.

For the first time ever, VH1 launched a Single Ladies eBook series set between the finale of season 2 and the premiere of season 3, and focusing on the individual lives and loves of the show’s leading ladies (April, Raquel and Keisha).

Written by New York Times bestselling author Ashley Antoinette (of Ashley & JaQuavis and Official Writer’s League), the eBook series featured a new novella each week on a leading character starting with April: November 26th, Raquel: December 3rd and Keisha: December 10th.

The Single Ladies eBooks retails for $3.99 and can be purchased through Amazon, B&N.com, and iTunes and can later be purchased in a 3-book bundle deal starting December 17 for $9.99.

Season 3 guest appearances include: T.I., KeKe Palmer, Laz Alonso, Cassandra Freeman, Malik Yoba, La La Anthony, Omar Gooding, Future, Ja Rule Atkins and others.

A lot of time has passed since we last saw the women of Single Ladies, and that means we’ve forgotten a lot of important plot points. Where did we leave off with everyone? For starters, Raquel was about to choose between sexy sex addict Antonio and rich, handsome Charles. We learned that April‘s boyfriend Reggie‘s family thinks he’s gay. And Keisha and Malcolm were just about to live happily ever after. But so much more happened last season, so watch the condensed version of season two complete with cast and crew commentary above, and get ready for the season three premiere on Monday, January 6 at 9PM ET/PT to see how these stories end up!
