Fans of the NBC freshman series Revolution, should be pleased to know that, while you wait for the show to return on March 25, a live-action webseries will launch to only complicate the story even more.

And here's where it gets even more interesting, the new webseries, will follow Capt. Neville (played by Giancarlo Esposito), who's on a mission to hunt down and kill those who had a hand in the attempt to assassinate Gen. Monroe (David Lyons). But while on this journey, Neville will apparently "stumble upon an even greater conspiracy that could change the course of the Republic forever."

The webseries will flashback to 11 years after the blackout, and only Esposito and Lyons will star in what will be a 5-episode webseries.

No word yet on how long each episode will be.

The webseries is supposed to premiere today, February 25 on NBC.com. But I haven't see anything yet. When it debuts, I'll either update this post, or, if it doesn't debut today, I'll share it tomorrow in a new post.
