Veteran actor Harry Lennix has just been added to the cast of the Superman film Man Of Steel. He'll play a high-ranking military officer named General Swanwick.

The cast already includes Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane and Christopher Meloni. Zack Snyder is on board as director and the pic will be released December 2012.

Lennix has appeared in hit films such as The Five Heartbeats, Get On The Bus, Clockers, Love & Basketball, Collateral Damage, Ray, The Matrix Reloaded, State of Play and much more.

Great news! Loved him so so much on Dollhouse where Joss Whedon made excellent use of his talent. So I'm glad to see this and hope Zack Snyder does the same.
