I know a lot of you are fans of the series, if comments in previous posts are any indication; and I'm sure it'll gain even more fans with a new set of actors joining the upcoming, highly-anticipated season 2 of the hit HBO show - specifically black Brits Lucian Msamati and Nonso Anozie, and all the debate that accompanied those posts about black British versus black American actors.

You'll all be happy to know that HBO has finally set a return date for season 2 of Game Of Thrones; based on the best-sellers by George R.R. Martin, season 2 of the epic fantasy series will debut on Sunday, April 1 (April Fools day - though this isn't an April Fools joke).

Season 2 will comprise of 10-episodes.

I missed season 1, but I'm waiting for the DVD/Blu-ray set to be released on March 6, giving me enough time to catch up before season 2 begins.

Ditto, Jug. I DVR'ed the entire first season in December to watch again before season 2. The story is so intricate that you're right, so many details become clearer upon subsequent viewings. I love it when an author can create a whole world of people and places that are utterly facsinating with complicated characters and relationships that you think you have sized up until more and more gets revealed about their backstory. I am trying to get around to reading the books. I took a look at it at my library and the book for vol. 1 is HUGE. That's not a deterent, but gotta make time. Bring it on!

Done, Done & Done! Just re-watched the whole season last week of Dec & saw SOOO MUCH stuff I didn't before. Interconnected storylines, subtleties in acting, understood characters & their family connections even more clearly-The world of The Realm as a whole. Can't wait for April 1 man!! "Awww hell naw, They Killed My Nigga Ned!!" LOL
