The man who sends the ladies hearts a-flutter,
Idris Elba, is reportedly now in deep discussions to join the cast of director
Kathryn Bigelow's yet unititled action thriller about the hunt for
Osama Bin Laden for
Sony Pictures. He would co-star in the film along with possibility of
Tom Hardy and
Guy Pearce who are both also in negotiations to star in the film.
The film, which will be Bigelow's first project since her Oscar winning film The Hurt Locker, is scheduled to start production early next year, for a late 2012 release.

Two favorites together. Can I be hopeful and think that no we can have three box office draws at the same time?

Notice how it went from Will Smith, Tom Hanks, Sean Penn, Javier Bardem, and Christian Bale to Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Guy Pierce & Jason Clarke. Admittedly, all good actors-every one. But it should tell you two things A) we don't need, or will pay, big stars & B) Hollywood truly goes with who's hot. All of the new names are fresh of some award nom or win & the talk of the town that everybody wants a piece.
Funny this Hollywood is...
