iFeatures, a U.K. low-budget feature film development and production initiative, is looking for some good minority feature filmmakers

Nadia Denton, the writer of The Black British Filmmaker's Guide to Success and The Nigerian Filmmaker's Guide to Success: Beyond Nollywood, which is coming out this summer, will host a “meet and greet” for Black, minority and ethnic filmmakers, via iFeatures, Creative England and the BFI Film Fund on Tuesday, 28th January, 2014.

iFeatures is a low budget feature film development and production initiative aimed at 1st and 2nd time feature filmmakers.

The program, which is funded by Creative England, BFI, BBC Films and Creative Skillset, will be open to applications starting on 27th January, with the aim being to select 16 projects that will go through development, culminating in 3 filmmaking teams being greenlit for production on a budget of £350,000 ($576,000) each.

As part of the launch, the team is running events across the country to meet filmmakers interested in applying, and will give interested filmmakers a chance to meet Christopher Granier-Deferre, who is the Executive Producer of iFeatures, as well as his colleagues from Creative England and the BFI Film Fund.

The meet and greet will take place at Ingenious Media in London, located at 15 Golden Square, London W1F 9JG.
