NEW YORK, NY -- (08/08/12) - IMG Worldwide, the global sports, fashion and media company, announced today that actress and former model Gabrielle Union has signed with IMG for exclusive worldwide management and representation for broadcasting, speaking, licensing, endorsements and marketing.

Union’s most recent box office credits include a co-starring role in the hit comedy, Think Like A Man (2012), which was number one at the box office for two consecutive weeks and later this year she is set to star in the release of In our Nature opposite John Slattery, Jena Malone and Zach Gilford.

In making the announcement, IMG Senior Corporate Vice President, Managing Director Clients, Sandy Montag, said, “IMG is thrilled to be working with an entertainer of Gabrielle’s caliber. We believe she has yet to tap into her full potential in the media and entertainment landscape and we plan to develop commercial opportunities with Gabrielle that will broaden her career by leveraging IMG’s global business operations across multiple media and marketing platforms to showcase her natural talent on camera.

Union’s career highlights include roles most notable as the cheerleader opposite Kirsten Dunst in the film Bring it On (2000) and 10 Things I Hate About You (1999). Union starred opposite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in the blockbuster film Bad Boys II. She also starred with LL Cool J in Deliver Us from Eva in 2003. She landed her first audition without any headshots, on "Saved by the Bell" (1989) and has since enjoyed continued success in both film roles and has guest-starred on several hit TV shows.

Union’s endorsement portfolio includes a long-standing relationship with Neutrogena as a spokeswoman for the global brand.

IMG represents some of sports and entertainment’s most celebrated personalities, and has demonstrated their ability to increase their clients’ profile through strategic marketing initiatives,” said Gabrielle Union. “I look forward to exploring the many exciting business opportunities with IMG from broadcasting, to endorsements and beyond.

Union will be represented by IMG Clients Vice President, Carlos Fleming and IMG Broadcasting Vice President, Sharon Chang.

Gabrielle Union graduated with honors from UCLA with a degree in sociology and is fluent in Spanish. Union is an avid sports fan and former high school basketball all-star point guard.

Co sign Nakisha. Big ups to Gabby, Im glad somebody took time to acknowledge she was a star athlete and is very bright. She is a fine actress in my opinion. She just needs more opportunities to do more serious roles and hopefully this will open up the door for her.
