Isaiah Washington will be co-starring and playing multiple roles in the play Unspeakable, which is described a "dramatic fantasia" on the life and career of comedy icon Richard Pryor, in a new production of the play in Chicago, for a limited 8-week engagement at the Royal George Theater, starting on October 2.
The 2005 play was first performed at the New York International Fringe Festival with co-writer James Murray Jackson Jr., who played the role of Pryor, and who will be reprising the role for this new Chicago production.
The play will be directed by Rod Gailes, who co-wrote the play with Jackson.
This, however, will not be Washington's first experience with the play. Back in November 2011, Washington took part in a public reading of the play in Los Angeles, along with Loretta Devine.

Any update on the biopic with Marlon Wayans, or is that stuck?
