Via press release from ABC...

In what the network is calling "a shocking cliffhanger episode" titled The Bridge, Mike Peterson, the character played by J. August Richards in the very first episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and whom we haven't seen since then, will return to provide "super-soldier" support for Agent Coulson as he takes the war back to Centipede. As they get closer to the truth, startling secrets are revealed and an unexpected twist threatens the team.

Despite the fact that I gave up on the series a few weeks ago, I just might tune in for this one, if only to see what Joss Whedon does with Mike Peterson this time around, when the episode airs on Tuesday, December 10.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.

Previously, Ruth Negga and Pascale Armand both guest-starred in episodes of the series.

The Bridge was written by Shalisha Francis and directed by Holly Dale.

So disappointed by this show and stopped watching weeks ago, but I will come back just to see this episode.

Torn on whether to subject myself to another episode of this bland, disappointing show just to see J. August. Maybe I'll catch it onDemand when I run out of other TV.

Somehow I missed Ruth Negga's episode, and I hope that this episode with J. August is much better than the first one was. "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." has really been a let down. Only a couple of episodes have been good, i.e. the one with the African American actress with a camera installed in her eye.....otherwise the show is akin to watching beige paint dry.
