Talented Chicago independent filmmaker James Reed Jr's genuinely funny and sweet natured feature comedy Get A Job, chronicles the crazy and choatic situations when a well-meaning and determined, but hapless young comic (Corey Hendrix) with his best friend (Milton "Lil' Rell" Howery), try to find a job to support himself and his wife. However after having no luck, Hendrix and his friend decide to go into business themselves, with a plan to open their own comedy club, only to wind up getting in way over their heads.
However Reed has decided to forgo the usual and expected route of releasing his film on DVD, and instead has made his film available to be seen on iTunes starting this week, which, for Reed, is a new avenue that more independent filmmakers should be taking advantage of.
