Jamie Foxx/Affion Crockett Series Premieres August 14th

In the Flow with Affion Crockett, the new half-hour sketch comedy series hosted by Crockett and executive produced by Jamie Foxx, will have its premiere on August 14th at 9pm on Fox.

According to Deadline, In the Flow is a take on pop culture with spoofs of movie trailers, commercials, TV shows, music videos and celebrities," in the vein of In Living Color.

The series will feature appearances by notables such as Snoop Dogg, Russell Simmons, Chris Brown, sports analyst Michael Strahan, and others.

In the Flow is produced by Fox TV Studios, Foxx/King Entertainment and Tantamount Studios. Foxx, Todd Yasui, Marcus King, Jaime Rucker King, Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum and Mitch Hurwitz are executive producing, with Carl Jones co-executive producing. Crockett serves as a writer and producer.

    I'm really looking forward to this... Also looking forward to Jamie Foxx's partnership with director Deon Taylor. Jamie's been saying a lot of amazing things about him lately. From what I heard they're looking to make theatrical film with A-List talent. I'm a big fan of Jamie's productions, and I'm sure he's gonna take Hollywood by storm with all that he's been getting involved with!
