More on-set photos from George Tillman Jr.'s The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister And Pete, which stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jennifer Hudson, Anthony Mackie, Jordin Sparks, and Jeffrey Wright, in a drama that sees Jennifer Hudson as a drug addict mother whose arrest forces her son and his best friend to fend for themselves.
The script was penned by Michael Starrbury, whose credits include the 2011 TV film Black Jack starring Ving Rhames, as well as a few shorts.
It's not yet known what roles the other actors play in the film, and what their relationships are. But we'll know soon enough, I'm sure.
The film is being co-produced by Alicia Keys who co-starred with Hudson in The Secret Life of Bees.
Shooting is underway in Brooklyn, NYC, and fan cameras are out, snapping photos of cast and crew on-set.
I especially liked these of Jeffrey Wright, playing what is obviously a homeless man/veteran (at least we know what role he plays - unless he's undercover).

Jeffrey Wright is an actor that we do not see enough of. He is one of those actors who should have 5 or 6 movies being released each year.

Great costume design. I'm a huge Wright fan. Not so much Jennifer Hudson and Anthony Mackie but Jeffrey Wright is genius.
