Jessica Lucas has booked a role alongside Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje has joined the cast of Paul W.S. Anderson’s actioner Pompeii.

Lucas joins a cast that also already includes Kit HaringtonKiefer Sutherland and Emily Browning, in a tale written by Michael Robert Johnson, which is set in the days leading up to the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in A.D. 79, and tells the tale of an enslaved gladiator (played by Harington) who faces the tyrant (Sutherland) who, years before, murdered his family, and now threatens to steal his lover, Flavia (Browning).

While Akinnuoye-Agbaje will play another enslaved gladiator who becomes friends with Harington’s character, Jessica Lucas will play the slave/confidante to Emily Browning’s Flavia in Pompeii.

Constantin Film is backing the movie with Lionsgate handling distribution in the USA.

Lucas currently can be seen on the big screen in this weekend's #1 opener, Evil Dead. Up next, catch her starring opposite Michael B. Jordan, Zac Efron and Miles Teller in the comedy Are We Officially Dating?

She has a lead role on "The Cult", a show on the CW network, but I don't believe it will get a 2nd season.

She reminds me of the young lady from "Glee" who does the M&M commercials, Naya Rivera.

Not at all. They're just both close in skin tone with long hair. And skinny. No other resemblance & no disrespect to either lady.
