About That Popular 'Black Films Don't Sell ...Kat Williams Books Starring Role In Malcolm D. Lee's 'Scary Movie 5'
This isn't a project I would've expected Malcolm D. Lee (Roll Bounce, Undercover Brother) to direct next, if at all, but I guess work is work.
His Scary Movie 5 has tapped Katt Williams to star, joining Lindsay Lohan, Mike Tyson, Heather Locklear and Charlie Sheen in a continuation of the popular spoof franchise.
I can only wonder if this casting is intentional; it's full of celebs who've had very public personal struggles in the past (some still are).
Malcolm Lee is directing Scary Movie 5 from a script penned by David Zucker, who wrote and directed the last 2 installments of the franchise.
Zucker and Lee will also produce for Dimension Films.
This will be Lee's first film since 2008.
