UPDATE: Pulliam posted the following to Twitter a little bit ago, addressing the rumors: "I am NOT joining the cast of RHOA this season... Next season or any season. I honestly don't know where this rumor is coming from!! Pls RT"
##############################################################################################
You may call it a questionable career move (at least I do), but actress Keisha Knight Pulliam (who's all grown up now, but will be forever known as little Rudy from The Cosby Show) has reportedly joined the cast of the reality show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which has been shooting for several weeks now, for its fifth season.
Pulliam, after leaving The Cosby Show, went to gradaute from Spelman College, and has been living in Atlanta for several years, working as both a business woman (who just recently launched her summer camp, Kamp Kizzy, for young teenage girls), and as an actress, working on indie projects as well as Tyler Perry TV shows and movies like Madea Goes To Jail.
Whether or not this is really the right venue for Pulliam, you will have to admit that it at least keeps her in the public eye.
But at what cost?

If she was willing to do a Tyler Perry movie, then the RHOA ain't so bad.

Honestly, there is no room for actors on TV any more, reality shows, talk shows, news magazine shows, court TV shows, etc. has many actors, especially in "Black Hollywood",looking for any change to make their next dollar. Reality shows are the "bully on the block' now and soup operas are one of it's many casualties.

True or not, it would fit right in with her current career trajectory.

Please check the woman's twitter. She's not joining. She's too sensible for that. http://twitter.com/#!/peachespulliam

You know what, she may get on there and join the side of the RHOA cast that is sensible and push the envelope on bringing it back to something that we can all be proud of, instead of the ratchetness that we have come way too familiar with on reality TV. I met her two months ago, and she was just as down-to-earth and beautiful as ever. I wish her the best.
Cliffs: Keshia Knight-Pulliam has always been a hottie, and she can change the flavor of the show and bring the classiness back in. Then we can appreciate the show once again...
Besides, many women in ATL will tell you the way things go on this show does not accurately represent how true ATL women are. Nothing against the staff now, but you have to admit the show is sensationalized enough to make you cringe.

She tweeted that the rumors are false, and that she will never ever be on Real Housewives. Hallelu-yer! LOL

Nadell, Cordell, don't you tell... so what, Sergio can't spell? If Peter Piper can pick a peck of pickle peppers, Rudy can show her booty with the rest of the cooties. Her pootie tang thang can still be a cutie and get all the lootie. Say it loud, we're black and we're proud. So pat that cake, pat that cake, baker's man. Flip that ass, flip that ass, as fast as you can; pat it and prick it and mark it with B (black booty that is), put it in on show for baby and me. Welcome to show business y'all.

A little piece of my heart just died.

Well, when Tyler Perry's your only career option, you gotta make money any way you can. Kandi's a far better singer/songwriter than Keisha is an actress (and that ain't saying much), so it's not totally crazy to me. Yeah, it's wack to go from Cosby & Spelman to TP & Housewives, but she has little else to fall back on. P.S. Only ONE 'L' in SpeLman.

Why Rudy Why!!!!!! Not a good look.
