Directed by filmmaker Shan Nicholson he says that his film will document the  "gang culture in NYC in the 70s and its influence on the birth of hip hop. This true story shines a spotlight on an extraordinary group of young people who took it upon themselves to start a revolution. They overcame the violence on their streets and influenced the birth of the musical and cultural movement that has taken the world over!"

And the realize his film to completion Nicholson has started a Kickstarter campaign to raise $50,000 to order to complete post-production on the film.
