Kim Wayans
has joined the cast of CBS’ drama pilot Reckless, which will be directed by Catherine Hardwicke, from a script penned by Dana Stevens.

Set in Charleston, South Carolina, Reckless centers on a beautiful big city litigator and a Southern attorney who struggle to hide their intense attraction to one another, while also professionally battling over a police sex scandal.

Ms Wayans will play a character named Vi, who is paralegal to our litigator from New York (the role hasn't been cast yet).

Cam Gigandet will play the Southern attorney.

Wayans was last seen on the big screen in Pariah, and on the small screen in an episode of Criminal Minds.

Man, it would have been so nice if they had made her the main character, and she ended up fighting an attraction to someone strong and fine like Richard T. Jones. Lord, if I only had a tv/film studio.....

She's also written a series of children's books, Amy Hodgepodge. They're not half bad.
