Considering the well-analyzed and explicated notion of the film as a racial metaphor... so the oppressed finally gets to tell his story? :)

From Deadline: "Fox Animation has set the team of Christian Magalhaes & Bob Snow to write a modern day twist on the King Kong story. It will be animated, and will tell the story from the vantage point of the ape. It's an interesting take on the material, because let's face it, Kong got a bum deal and had no way to verbally complain about it. "

Hollywood must be going "ape-shit;" Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes debuts this year; Craig Brewer has signed on to write and direct Tarzan Of The Apes, and now this.

Story suggestions and/or plot points we can pass along to the production team??
